Les frères CLOUTIER

Jean and Robert Cloutier were twin brothers born in Paris in 1930. They studied at the Meaux School of Ceramics before working for Georges Jouve, Lafourcade, and Rivière. This training enabled them to open a workshop in the 12th arrondissement of Paris in 1955. They became particularly well-known for their creation of a red enamel that was a particular hit, and they collaborated with major institutions such as Air France and Galeries Lafayette. They worked in ceramics, porcelain, glazed earthenware, and plaster.
