Maison LUNEL

Lunel was a French lighting manufacturer founded by Raymond Lunel, who became famous for his use of brass and tubular metal, which allowed for creations with clean, simple lines. His lighting fixtures were handcrafted, and he collaborated with Robert Mathieu to develop a lighting collection called "Diabolo." Today, Raymond's granddaughter, Agathe Lunel, is developing the reissue of some of the brand's flagship models.

Maison Lunel was a French lighting manufacturing company founded by René Mathieu in 1939 in Lunel, southern France. Lunel became renowned for its quality lighting and modern aesthetic, which enjoyed great success in the post-war years and into the 1970s.

Lunel lighting was renowned for its elegant design, innovative use of materials, and craftsmanship. The company produced a wide range of lighting fixtures, including floor lamps, wall sconces, chandeliers, and table lamps, which were sold worldwide.

Although the company ceased operations in the 1980s, Lunel lighting fixtures are still highly prized by collectors and vintage design enthusiasts for their exceptional craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic.
